Paul Greenleaf

This ongoing series combines 'found' photography with new photographic work.

I collect used postcards which inspire me to retrace and photograph the depicted locations. I find the exact spot the original picture was taken from and re-photograph the view, showing how the land has altered physically and highlighting changes within our cultural landscape.

The written message on the original card, provides the title for each photograph. The new pictures are exhibited as large prints and as postcards themselves.
