Correspondence BOOK 1

This book collects work from the series Correspondence which involves collecting, cataloguing, archiving and research in order to remake tourist postcards from the late 1960s onwards. Photographs from this ongoing series are taken at the exact spot of original postcards. The postcard sender's message is adopted as the title for each piece, everyday words and memories find a life beyond their original context. The act of reworking these images and resending cards featuring these locations promotes a conversation, a correspondence with the past.
