Folding together moving image, archival material, field recordings and experimental sound, this short film explores memory, place and technological mediation through the contested landscape of the M11 Link Road in Leytonstone, East London.
The work interweaves personal and collective histories through archive film and photography, newly recorded video and music, electromagnetic field recordings, degraded radio transmissions with testimonies from former residents. These overlapping layers explore how recording technologies preserve, distort and reanimate memory.

Taking its title from the protest slogan painted on the final house awaiting demolition and Obi-Wan Kenobi's famous line, the film evokes spectral voices and residual traces embedded within the landscape.
